Giant vs Viper (Smackdown Ep663 Reviewed)

Smackdown began with Sheamus speaking on the mic, again announcing his decision will be made after the Elimination Chamber PPV. Wade Barrett would come down after Sheamus finished talking about his early days. Wade said that if Sheamus were to choose the World Heavyweight Championship, he would go on to Wrestlemania to fight Wade. Cody Rhodes would then come down to the ring, He announced that he would win the Elimination Chamber and defeat Sheamus as a dual champion. Big Show would then come down to the ring. He asked Sheamus to think about the main event match, Big Show vs Sheamus at Wrestlemania. Cody and Wade then would poke fun at Big Show’s poor win rate at Wrestlemania. Big Show would hit Rhodes with a chop and a fight would break out. Sheamus and Show would clear the ring of Cody and Barrett. A tag match would be set later that night between the two.

The match started with Show squaring off with Cody, Cody tagged to Wade after a growl from Show. Big Show then opened some offense, Wade quickly made a tag, and Cody would suffer some pain. Show would tag to Sheamus as Cody tagged to Wade. Sheamus would dominate Wade with signature moves such as the Irish hand grenades. Wade would hit a shuffle gut kick and tagged to Cody, but Sheamus retained momentum.  Sheamus would power over any counter Cody attempted and tagged back in the Big Show. A tag made to Wade Barrett would enable the two to hit a tag team move, used by teams such as Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. This enabled Wade and Cody to gain control of the match. Show would create a hot tag with a sideways slam on Cody, Sheamus would come in and pick up some major momentum on legal partner Wade Barrett, Show would eliminate Cody with a spear and Sheamus finished the match with a Brogue kick.

The match was of good quality, I was surprised to how much advantage Sheamus and Show had. Great tag team manoeuvre by Wade and Cody. This was promo for chamber, although Khali was not put in, I assume because he hasn’t had that much promotion. Sheamus again had so much momentum on him, however he chooses, WWE will have an easier time promoting the match rather than the other.

Jinder Mahal would compete one on one against another Elimination Chamber participant, the Great Khali. Khali would unload on Jinder after receiving a disrespectful slap. Mahal countered an attempt at a two handed chokeslam, and would pound on Khali, trying to ground the giant. Khali would then create a comeback, with chops, and finished Jinder with a two handed chokeslam.

It was an obvious jobber match, however I think Khali was a bad choice for WWE, Mark Henry had a massive storyline on him and loads of promotion on himself, Mark was injured, so a replacement was necessary, Khali was a big guy, but honestly they could have someone a lot better.

Beth Phoenix would compete against Alicia Fox. Beth held the top rope up and told Alicia to get out of her ring. Alicia showed some offense, hitting an awesome duck similar to Melina and Trish, however Beth would end the match with the Glam Slam.

Post-match, Beth went to hit a second Glam Slam, however Tamina rushed into the ring, the two had a stare down, before Beth would exit the ring.

A second short match, there was no in ring competition between the two. However I would like to see Beth vs Tamina, as both have great in ring ability, rather than concentrating mainly on their looks, they can actually wrestle. Hope to have a lot of promotion on this and see it at Wrestlemania, similar to the Trish vs Mickie James match, which was great wrestling.

Natalya and Tyson Kidd would talk backstage, this was brief until she again would let on go, Hornswaggle would walk past and faint due to the smell

Ted DiBiase would compete against Hunico, after Hunico attacked DiBiase a few weeks ago. DiBiase would fire up early, Hunico would swiftly counter with a twist arm drag. Hunico then focused his attack outside the ring, on the injured wrist. Back in the ring, Ted would attempt to build up some momentum; however Hunico hit a jumping arm breaker. Hunico followed up with 3 ground arm breakers; however Ted reversed the 3rd into a pinfall for the win.

Another great match by Hunico and Ted DiBiase. A nice little rivalry has built up between them. Shame that Ted is not a cruiser-weight as this could ignite the return of the cruiser-weight division, A guy can dream, I miss the division so.

The From the Vault match would be Jeri-Show vs Crime Time, which if you never saw it, Jeri-show won, promoting the tag team match for TLC against DX, back in the day.

AJ would have an interview with Cole, she announced she would have the neck brace off next week and would be competing very soon. Cole would then try and insult D-Bry, however AJ would bark back at Cole, saying he was biased and the WWE would be better if he shut up. Cole would react by saying that D-Bry set AJ up to get hit by Big Show and that AJ had no self-respect.  D-Bry would come down to the ring, sticking up for her, Cole would leave the ring. He would then move on to his role model gimmick. He announced that he would be leaving the arena and would take AJ home. The two would then talk as they walked backstage. Teddy approached them, saying that he would provide transportation for AJ, he threatened that if D-Bry left the arena he would lose his title.

D-Bry vs Orton would feature Big Show on commentary.  The match began with some technical wrestling. D-Bry would use his signature comeback from WWE12, but met a dropkick. Orton’s advantage was short lived after a devastating kitchen sink.  Orton would  build up some momentum, knocking Bryan outside, Show would stand-up, Orton asked show to sit down and let Orton have his match, this gave D-Bry the opening to hit Orton with an outside dive and followed up with a running knee of the apron.  Orton countered an armbreaker with his signature backbreaker and picked up some offense. Orton remained in control, after avoiding a diving headbutt, he  then began using his signature comeback, until D-Bry hit a big kick to the head, Orton caught Bryan on the top rope and hit a superplex resulting in a two count. D-Bry would hit the lebell lock, unti however Orton would slingshot D-Bry to continue his comeback. D-Bry got to the apron and hit a hotshot. D-bry tried to get a cheapshot on Big Show, however Show threw him against the wall and back into the ring, where he met an RKO. D-Bry won the match by DQ. Orton would argue with Show outside, before the two began fighting while D-Bry walked away.

I enjoyed the match, very technical. I enjoyed Big Show knocking Orton on his ass at least 3 times. The title match will be great.

Overall I will rate Smackdown: 5/10
1)Big Show/Orton fight
2) Main Event match
3)Return of Hunico vs DiBiase
4)Diva promo
5)Nice tag team match

Viper's Revenge (Smackdown EP 662 reviewed)

Smackdown would kick off with Teddy Long announcing the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This would feature D-Bry, Wade Barrett, Big Show, Cody Rhodes. Mark Henry and Randy Orton.Mark would come down and complain about the odds of him winning are slim, he asked for World Championship match. Teddy would take Mark out of the chamber match for disrespecting him. Mark continued insulting T-Lo and put his hands on T-Lo, which would result in Mark being suspended. Mark would then threaten T-Lo, but Sheamus would come down to the ring, he would hit Henry with a Brogue kick, knocking him out the ring. T-Lo then asked Sheamus if he decided what title he wanted to challenge for, Sheamus would reply that he would decide after Elimination Chamber. Cody Rhodes came down to the ring bragging about his success in the rumble and would win the World Title. Teddy announced a match between Sheamus and Cody.

The match began with Sheamus dominating with his power. Cody counter Sheamus outside and throw him into the ring post, he knocked the great white down with the disaster kick, This gave Rhodes the advantage. Cody would prevent Sheamus from building up momentum by hitting big impact moves. Sheamus would fight back when Cody began using strikes, this changed the momentum. Sheamus would take to the top rope and after knocking Rhodes down, Cody would escape the Celtic cross, miss the disaster kick, dodge the Brogue kick but lose to "a new move" by Sheamus.

I hope that when the "suspension" is up, Mark recovers from his injuries and continues as a heel. The current gimmeck he has is a brilliant one. The match between Cody and Sheamus was very good, especially the ending. However the new move by Sheamus was used by a previous Irish superstar Finlay. The running Running over the shoulder back to belly piledriver was used by Finlay in WWE and he called it funny enough, the celtic cross for those who remember this.

Cody remained ringside while Justin Gabriel would compete against Hunico. Cody would assault Gabriel while Hunico was coming down to the ring. He, Rhodes and Kamacho would all stomp on Gabriel until The Great Khali would come down to the ring. Cody would escape while Khali would deal chops and hit Hunico with a two two handed chokeslam.

Later that night Khali would be announced as the 6th member of the Elimination Chamber match for Smackdown.

I was so annoyed that this happened, who else was? Hunico vs Gabriel, this would have been a great match, both have great in ring ability and have great matches with their opponents. They are a group of few superstars that actually have great wrestling matches, and instead they have a lame promo with Khali. I get that he needs promotion since his return, but I would have preferred
a post match attack by Cody, then create this promo. Who else agrees? The promotion was for him to once again become a contender for the title, but in my opinion he has been away for far too long to just be put back in.

Backstage Drew would again ask Teddy for forgiveness. Teddy said to Drew that he needs to look into a new way of impressing him. Santino would enter after Drew left. Santino announced that he had found a new partner, Hacksaw Jim Duggan.Teddy announced that they would be competing against PeR. Aksana would enter after Hacksaw and Santino left. They would have a sexual refernce to a massive piece of wood, this would be Hacksaw's 2X4 laying at Teddy's feet.

The match between the Santin-Oh! and PeR would begin with Santino and Epico. Santino would begin with some MMA (Mixed Marella Arts) and would tag in Hacksaw. Epico would quickly gain control after Primo caused a distraction and would follow with a tag to Primo.. Hacksaw would tag to Marella after breaking a submission. Santino would hit a two count after Epico broke the count. Hacksaw would clear the ring of Epico, Santino would set up for the Cobra, however Rosa distract Santino allowing Primo to hit the win with the backstabber.

I enjoy Hacksaw, but he doesn't have the stamina to compete against young blood like PeR. I would have have preferred a match between the Usos and PeR. but WWE want to promote this running gimmick with Santino. I believe next week he will have a new partner, I would love it to be Road Dogg.

Next would be a segment with Michael Cole. Cole would introduce Daniel Bryan to the ring. Cole would continue to express his views of Bryan but then offered his hand saying that he was wrong about Bryan. Daniel would brag about himself continuing his rant from RAW, encouraging people to be vegan. He then moved his rant to the Big Show, saying he should not have to defend his title against him after Show losed 4 championship matches. He commented that Teddy Long would join the unemployment line, with Lauranaitis, if he did not take Show out of the match at Elimination Chamber. Big Show would come down to the ring. He announced that he would lose his title at the Elimination Chamber. D-Bry would say that Big Show will lose, he then phisically provoked Bryan, Big Show would unload on Bryan knocking him down with a chokeslam. AJ would come down and after Bryan tried to jump show, Show would attempt to hit Bryan with the WMD. AJ grabbed Show's hand to prevent this. AJ and Bryan would exit up the ramp.

Backstage during the match between Barrett and Orton T-Lo said to Daniel Bryan and AJ to watch the match when they asked to talk about Big Show. After the match T-Lo would announce next week Randy Orton would fight D-Bry

WWE have got a great storyline going with Bryan and Big Show. They then took a plot twist with A J entered in to the mix

Backstage Natalya would be warming up with Beth, however she would let out 2 farts during this, Santino would walk into this and run back gagging from the stench.

The match between Aksana and Tamina vs Natalya and Beth Phoenix. Natalya would hit two big impact moves. Beth would deliver a very powerful blind tag, much like she did to Brie on RAW. She would then finish Aksana with the Glam Slam.

Natalya would try to hit Aksana with the sharpshooter post match. Tamina would nail her with a boot and hit a superfly on Natalya again.

The funny fart gimmick with Natalya is brilliant, Aksana however has little in ring ability, she still needs training. I am getting sick of Tamina and Natalya, either end it or do something with it, cause it is becoming predictable

The from the vault match would be between Taker vs Jericho from 2009. If you saw this match you would know that Taker won the match. This was obviously a promotion tool for Taker who had returned and Jericho who was a heel and returned to Raw at the start of 2012.

Pre-Match Orton would be interviewed. He asked if Orton's approach to the main event would be conservative. Orton stated that if the roles have been reversed Orton would have thrown Barrett down the stairs, he also stated that he would walk out of Elimination Chamber a 10 time world champion.

The match between Orton and Barrett would begin with Orton unloading on Barrett. Orton continued the assault outside, throwing Barrett into the wall and using the stairs to inflict damage. Orton would send Barrett into the ring and then retrieve a table. He and Barrett would be on the top rope as Orton tried to suplex Barrett into the table he set up. Barrett however countered pushing Orton into the table, This was a game changer giving Barrett complete control. Orton would finally counter and the fight would lead out into the fans, where Orton would dominate with strikes, after clothesling Barrett back to ring side. Orton picked up some major momentum, until Barrett reversed an irish whip into the stairs. Barrett would grab a chair and unload on Orton with chairs. Barrett would then attempt to hit the wasteland on the chair. However Orton would escape and build up a comeback. Orton would then grab the chair and return with shots. He then wedged the chair and whipped Barrett into the chair. Orton would then try to hit an RKO but Orton reversed into a sideway slam. Barrett would then grab a chair and hit a shot to Orton's back, Barrett tried to hit another Wasteland, but Orton reversed into an RKO. Orton picked Barrett up and hit another RKO on the steel chair.

As soon as T-Lo announced that D-Bry would face Orton, D-Bry came down to the ring and celebrated him being champion.

This match was back and forth, very high impact and great use of weapons. I am looking forward to next week's match. I am actually hoping D-Bry wins. I want to see more of the storyline. I enjoyed the brawl as I didn't expect a wrestling match. The fight in the fans was very short, I was not surprised that Orrton would win, he needs to make up for missing a month.

Overall I would rate this week's episode of Smackdown /10
1) Great match between Sheamus and Cody
2) Rosa Dancing
3) Orton vs Barrett
4) D-Bry/Show storyline amazing
5) Bryan vs Orton announced
6) Hacksaw on Smackdown

WWE Royal Rumble 2012

WWE Royal Rumble 2012 would be the 25th anniversary of this PPV. This year we would have 30 year royal rumble, WWE & World Heavyweight Championship would be on the line. Two opponents would fight in a match built on revenge.

The First Match would be a great way to kick of Royal Rumble. It would be the World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match, inside a STEEL CAGE. The way to win is Pin Fall, Submission and Escaping the Cage.

This would be Bryan's second world heavyweight title match contested in a steel cage. Mark Henry would compete despite his knee injury he suffered on Smackdown.

Bryan would get speared by Big Show, taking him out for a while why Show and Mark Battled. Big Show had Mark Henry between the ropes and the Cage and ran into him repeatedly. D-Bry tried to escape, but was body slammed by Big Show. Big Show would dominate throwing D-Bry around. Show punched the cage missing D-Bry with the WMD. Big Show would be countered by D-Bry delivering a running kick to Shows knee. D-Bry turned his attention to Mark, kicking him. D-Bry attempted to escape through the door; Mark would stop him, and assault Bryan with the Cage. Mark turned his attention to the Big Show, but would be kicked to the ground by Show, Show then turned to Bryan throwing him into the cage repeatedly. D-Bry would then be pummelled with clubs by Show and dominated him again. Show and Mark then exchanged strikes, until Mark took control with a clothesline to Show. Mark would then throw D-Bry around and miss a ram to Bry hitting the Cage, and then speared by Big Show D-Bry tried to get a pin on Mark, but Mark kicked out. Show would then throw D-Bry into the cage again. Show tried to chokeslam D-Bry, but D-Bry countered with a tornado DDT. He got a two count, and then locked in the Lebell lock, but Mark broke the hold. Mark then threw D-Bry into the cage, following up with a World's strongest slam, Show would hit Mark before he hit the move with the WMD, Big Show would get a two count, when D-Bry broke the count, he immediately climbed the cage to get away from Show, but Show grabbed him. D-Bry was pulled up the cage, however D-Bry broke the grip of the Big Show and D-Bry retained the title.

What a great match to kick off the rumble. I thought this was an awesome match. Mark Henry did more than I expected in his current condition. Big Show and Bryan were the focus of the match, which was good, as the storyline is making Smackdown a must watch. The end was awesome, Big Show is a tough guy, as he actually lifted Bryan, Bryan did not use the cage to help Show, and he actually lifted him, which was awesome. D-Bry was pretty good, in ring, but the man of the match had to be Big Show.

The next match would be an 8-Divas tag team match. The Bella twin, Natalya & Beth Phoenix vs Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox & Tamina.

Tamina would take on Natalya at the get go, Tamina would go for a Samoan drop, but reversed. They would exchange slaps, and Eve would be tagged in, she would hit her moonsault splash. But would be pushed into the opposition corner, where Beth would be tagged in. Beth would take control with a reversal. Beth tagged into a bella who would continue the pressure on eve. The Bella twin, applied a rear chin hold, this built up momentum for Eve to tag into Alicia would build up some offense. The Bella would reverse and take control with an flip arm slam. Alicia would build up some momentum and tag to Kelly, who then would build up some offense. The Divas would begin to brawl outside, which let Kelly hit a diving cross body. Kelly put a Bella twin in the ring, but would be countered with a hot shot; Beth aggressively tagged herself in, and hit the Glam Slam for the win.

This match was a slot filler and that was what it was. There was little rivalry between the divas, apart from Tamina and Natalya. But the ending was good, as I believe Beth is becoming a major Diva again, hopefully reprising the Diva Division.

Backstage, Zack Ryder would wheeled around with a brace on. Lauranaitis would talk to Zack, Eve however gave Lauranaitis a piece of her mind, saying she hopes he is fired on RAW.

The next match would be between Kane and John Cena. "Kane stated that Cena would embrace the hatred by the Rumble. John refusing to do this has caused his friends around him to suffer" to quote Michael Cole.
Cena started swinging fists, but Kane quickly took control with a back elbow. Kane would then land numerous strikes, Cena battled back, clotheslining Kane outside, Kane landed on his feet. Kane dragged Cena through the ropes and tried to Irish whip him into the stairs, Cena would counter and send Kane in. Kane would get back in the ring, where Cena would attempt to deliver an AA to Kane, but would fall forward, giving Kane an opening. Kane would continue his assault on Cena with strikes and holds trying to wear Cena down. Cena tried to battle back, but Kane would regain control with an upper-cut. Kane would try to get the win with a suplex, but got a two count, Kane quickly applied another hold to wear down Cena.  Cena broke the hold and tried to build up some offense, but Kane again delivered a Right hand to gain control. Kane would then put some assault on Cena in the corner, Cena countered and attempted to land a bulldog, Kane threw Cena off him. Cena would create an opening with a hot shot to Kane, but Kane would hit a clothesline, then attempting to hit the suffocation hold on Cena, he locked it and brought Cena to his knees. Cena reversed with a cross face, Kane would escape and hit a side slam. Kane went up top, to hit his flying clothesline, he hit Cena clean with it and then went for his Chokeslam. John would then have a comeback setting Kane up for the 5-knuckle shuffle. Kane however grabbed him by the throat and hit a big boot, after Cena released the throat hold; this resulted in a two count. Kane would build up some offense with strikes in the corner, before lifting Cena on the turnbuckle. Kane tried to suplex Cena but was knocked down. He then went for a top rope 5-Knuckle Shuffle. John the tried to hit an AA, but Kane escaped with an elbow, Cena hit a drop kick to the knee, knocking Kane over, Kane pushed Cena outside and began attacking Cena outside. The match would end in double count out.

Cena would then take advantage hitting Kane with an object the fight lead backstage, where Kane slammed Cena’s head and hit an upper-cut. Cena would fight back throwing Kane into some trash. Kane would return with a chair to the gut then follow up with 3 chair shots to the back. Kane then went into Zack Ryder's Room where, he hit a suffocation hold on Zack then wheeled him out and to ring, he kicked Ryder around, Eve ran down and begged Kane to stop. Kane took no notice and delivered a tombstone Piledriver to Ryder. Kane turned his attention to Eve, Cena then came down to her aid, however Kane would chokeslam Cena and leave the ring.

The match was very one sided. But I am glad that it ended in a double count out. The post-match was the best part, a great fight backstage and leaving questions that we hope to find out. What will happen with Cena and Kane? My answer is it will be settled at Elimination Chamber. I enjoyed that Kane actually reigned supreme in the post-match, as he completely dominated Cena, it would have been a shame if he was defeated.

Drew McIntyre would take on "Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay. Clay would begin by giggling, McIntyre would deliver numerous strikes to Clay, however this seemed to be pumping up Clay, Clay would counter with a head but, followed by a T-Bone suplex. He hit a running splash in the corner and hit the What the Funk for the win.

I thought that Brodus Clay would actually be a participant, I guess they still want to continue the promotion of Clay, I guess that it is for merchandise. I wonder when Drew will be “Fired” as he has had a final warning about three to four times. I am enjoying the storyline, but want it to turn its course. The match was a jobber match which I am a bit unhappy about.

Next up would be the WWE Championship Match.  This would be contested between CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler. The referee for this match would be John Lauranaitis, who was having an on-going feud with CM Punk. He announced he would intentionally be biased towards Dolph, and the RAW before the rumble, Punk would hit Lauranaitis with the GTS.

Laranaitis announced that he would officiate outside the ring and a WWE official referee would officiate the inside of the ring. Before the match began, Lauranaitis would eject Vickie Guerrero from ring side, as Punk won a match where the stipulation was that Swagger and Vickie were banned from ring side.
The two would lock up, Ziggler went for a knee, Punk dodged and attempted a GTS, Ziggler escaped. The two locked up again, Punk would deliver kicks and build up some speed, however when Punk went for the kick to the back of the head, Ziggler held onto the ropes. Punk and Ziggler would lock  up a third time, where Punk would almost lock in the anaconda vice, but Ziggler escaped. The fourth lock up, Punk would lock in the abdominal stretch and deliver repeated blos to Ziggler. He then hit Ziggler with a hot shot and followed up with a outside dive. Punk would go up top, giving Ziggler an opening where Punk fell of the turnbuckle, banging the back of his neck on the turnbuckle. Dolph would take control, unleashed numerous stomps and strikes, he then knocked Punk into the referee, which knocked the referee outside. Punk would then lock in the Anaconda Vice, Ziggler Tapped out, however the referee didn’t see, Lauranaitis attended to the referee outside. Punk would then argue with the referee, Ziggler tried to get a roll-up, but Punk would reverse getting a four count, however the referee was still down. Lauranaitis would argue again with Punk, Punk would then hit the GTS, as Lauranaitis pushed the referee back into the ring and tried to wake him up, Punk swung Ziggler’s leg into Lauranaitis’s head, knocking him out the ring. Punk would cover, but the referee was still down. Punk would then attempt to hit another GTS, but Ziggler countered into a leg lariat, this was counted but only scored a two count. Punk would then counter Ziggler into a slingshot, Ziggler bounced off the turnbuckle setting up the GTS for Punk to win.

I thought this was the best match of the night, except for the rumble match. Amazing in ring skills by both competitors, a lot of actual wrestling involved, beautiful counters. Amazing match. I was surprised that Lauranaitis didn’t screw Punk, even when he got hit in the back of the head by Ziggler’s foot when Punk set up the first GTS.

The Royal Rumble match would feature numerous participants.

I honestly thought that Jericho would win it, making him a WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, ECW Champion, WCW Champion and a Royal Rumble Winner. Sadly he did not make the win. Sheamus I predicted to win, as he has dominated his way on WWE recently, this will top it off.

My favourite bits from the Rumble is Ricardo’s crap car entrance in the style of Alberto Del Rio, the three announcers each entered the Rumble. Road Dogg’s return, Kharma’s return, Mr Socko vs the Cobra and The Finale between Jericho and Sheamus, back and forth, I was very hesitant to who would win.

This was an awesome PPV. I really enjoyed it and cannot wait until RAW.

Mark Henry Injured (Smackdown Ep 661 Reviewed)

Smackdown would kick off with the return of the Big Show, as he was not on last week due to a collision involving Daniel Bryan's Girlfriend A J. Big Show apologized "live" and said that A J forgave him immediately, he asked the fans to forgive him. Big Show said that after the incident, he was considering retiring from wrestling, Daniel Bryan would come down to address the Big Show. Daniel would insult Big Show and slapped him, Big Show would push Bryan into the corner, called Bryan an arrogant little ass, and said that what happens to bryan won't be an accident. Mark Henry came down to the ring, He ordered Bryan around, and said he would tear his skin off. T-Lo would interrupt to sort things out. He announced that Big Show would compete against Mark Henry, as D-Bry had fought both men in two matches weeks before.

Backstage, Daniel would speak to Mark. He would tell Mark that Big Show has no right to be in the match, he said that Mark needs to hurt Big Show, like Show has done to Mark and D-Bry's girlfriend.

D-Bry would then talk to Kaitlyn telling her to tell Big Show that Mark Henry plans to injure him. Kaitlyn asked D-Bry to tell her how he felt about AJ, Daniel did not disclose any information.

The Main event match between Mark Henry and Big Show would be interesting, as D-Bry was trying to manipulate the pair. Big Show and Mark would exchange strikes inside and outside the ring. Daniel Bryan would sit ring side. Mark Henry would suffer a knee injury when delivering a punch to Big Show. Big Show would win via count out after being knocked out the ring a second time. D-Bry would attack Big Show with a chair, Big Show would then chase D-Bry, this allowed Bryan another oppertunity to attack Big Show, he locked in the Lebell lock. Big Show powered out and hit a massive chokeslam, he then went for the WMD, but Bryan would roll out the ring.

As Mark Henry was supposed to attack Bryan at the end of Smackdown, because he tried to manipulate the two, he would get attacked by the pair. But Henry would suffer an injury, he says that he is planning on competing despite his injury at the Rumble. I think that this was the best they could do, It was a goof promo, but I do hope Mark competes at Rumble

Cody Rhodes would compete against Justin Gabriel in a non-title match. Gabriel would start up with quick offense, but Cody would gain control with an Alabama Slam. Gabriel would pick up some offense after reversing with a monkey flip, Rhodes and Gabriel would exchange moves. Cody would land his springboard kick and finish the match with the Cross Rhodes.

I always love the Cody Rhodes vs Gabriel matches, they are always great, as both competitors give it their all. I assumed Gabriel would win, as they said non-title match a few times. I believe WWE are pursuing Cody's chase for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage Santino would converse with T-Lo about match ideas. He would introduce the new team of Santino and Yoshi Tatso, "Santoshi" Yoshi would argue the name Yoshtino. Drew would interrupt this argument, Teddy would tell Drew he had a match against Sheamus.

Santino and Yoshi (Name still undecided) would compete against PeR. Santino would start off against Primo, embarrasing Primo, he tagged into Yoshi who would not notice a blind tag from epico, this gave Epico the upper-hand. Epico however would be reversed, Santino would be tagged in and build up some offense but only get a two count, as Primo broke this up. Primo threw Yoshi out the ring with a clothesline, Santino hit the cobra on Primo and Epico would win with a backstabber.

WWE are doing a superb job with the tag team division, they are finding new teams, like I suggested. I loved this match, great in ring action, as well as a swift win by PeR.

The match between Drew and Sheamus would begin with Sheamus and Drew exchanging strikes. Sheamus would win the strike and would be reversed when he attempted to hit the Irish Hand grenades. Drew would ground Sheamus with submissions and grapples. After a kick to sheamus's back, Sheamus would unload with offense on Drew and finish with a Brogue kick.

This was a good match as it promoted two things, Drew's losing streak and Sheamus's Royal Rumble momentum. I would say last week was better, as it was hilarious, Drew swinging at the ring post, lol. This weeks match was sort of a jobber match. Drew didn't put up much of a fight.

The match that was anticipated this week was Barrett vs Randy Orton. Barrett would talk before the match. Barrett said that Randy was a broken man, he replayed the match they had a month ago, where Barrett would throw Orton down the stairs.Orton would interrupt Barrett talking about the footage. The two began exchanging strikes outside and then in the ring. Referees came out to separate the two, Barrett tried to escape. Superstars would come down to seperate Orton and Barrett, but the two were again separated. Orton would RKO Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta, Jimmy and Jay Uso.

What the hell!? Where was the match, I didn't tune into Smackdown for that, Orton would be angry, but they should have had the match. Then Orton RKO'd 5 guys, I get your trying to promote the guy, but that was so stupid, I noticed they were all NXT stars, nice to see how they are treated.

The next match would be Hunico accompanied by Camacho, taking on Ted DiBiase. DiBiase would have his wrist heavily taped up. DiBiase would hit quick strikes until Hunico focused on DiBiase's wrist.Dibiase tried to build up some offense, but could not hit the dream street. Hunico took advantage with a side samoan drop for the win.

Post match, Hunico and Camacho would attack DiBiase inflicting further pain, by having Hunico jump on Ted's wrist which was held against the steel stairs.

This match did not live up to last weeks match, however I will show leniency due to a broken wrist. This is a very good rivalry. I wondered where the heck is Sin Cara? Post a comment on this post if you know.

Backstage Natalya would demand a match against Tamina, Aksana would make a comment about this, Teddy would make a match between Aksana and Natalya.

The match between Natalya and Aksana was about 5 seconds, Aksana hit a roll up for the win. Natalya would attack Aksana and hit the sharpshooter. Tamina would come to Aksana's aid and hit Natalya with a samaon drop and another superfly.

WWE would put on a "from the vault" DX vs The Hart Dynasty. If you saw this match you know that DX win. This was when The Hart Dynasty were heel. I wonder why Tyson kidd is used as a jobber, when he is a great athlete and a great tag team competitor.

Alex Ryley would be used as a jobber against "Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay. The two would dance before Brodus would hit a T-Bone suplex, he would then win with the What the Funk?

I thought it was amusing, despite being short. I counted 3 moves hit.

Overall I would rate this episode of Smackdown: 6/10 (I feel with numerous injuries that it has become difficult for Smackdown)
1) DX flashback match (from the vault)
2)Great tag team match between Yoshi/Santino and Reks/Hawkins
3)Divas match
4) Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre
5)Kaitlyn on screen twice!
6) Funkasaurus

Sin City Smackdown (EP 660 Reviewed)

D-Bry would come down to the ring saying that Big Show was not sorry for what he had done to AJ, he stated that he was bitter due to his 45 seconds as Champion. He stated that AJ's career maybe over due to Big Show's actions. He said that he would dedicate his match against Mark Henry to her. He stated that he is not afraid of him. He stated that Big Show was not on Smackdown, and said for Show to do the decent thing and Quit.

Backstage Mark Henry would blame Teddy for AJ's assault, before he made Teddy spin the roulette wheel. It would land on a lumberjack match. He stated that D-Bry would enter the hall of pain.

As the ring side filled up with superstars. It was time for the World Heavyweight Championship match. Mark Hnery would throw his T shirt at Daniel. He then pushed him on to the apron. Daniel turned to the Lumberjacks and told them not to touch him.Mark would completely  dominate D-Bry, and stop him building momentum. Bryan would fall outside, and be quickly returned to the ring. Where Mark would continue his assault. D-Bry attempted some offense with strikes to the knee and corner offense. Daniel would be thrown off of Mark and outside where he would return. Mark would then throw Daniel outside, wheere he would attack DiBiase, before being attacked and put back in. Mark would be knocked outside, where the entire Lumberjacks would attack him. D-Bry would kick a few, where they would return the attack on him. Mark would beat off Bryan's attackers, and attempt to win, but the entire lumberjacks would beat down Mark, the lumberjacks would then attack each other while D-Bry walked out. Teddy caught up with him and announced a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship, between him, Mark Henry and Big Show. In the Ring Sheamus would clear the ring leaving him the last man standing

I am definintely looking forward to this, I expected a DQ to be rung when the 4 lumberjacks attacked Bryan in the ring, I never expected the lumberjacks to attack one another. But it was a Royal Rumble promotion, allow I enjoyed. Well done.

With smackdown in Las Vegas, we saw a roulette wheel. As Teddy and Aksana were flirting. Cody would intrude to spin the roulette and stated that he was the last hope for his family. It landed on a players choice. Cody then picked out Hornswaggle as his opponent, after Ezekiel and Santino were looked over.

The match between Cody and Hornswaggle not start as Cody would shove Hornswaggle, outside before the match started. Justin Gabriel came down to aid Hornswaggle. Justin challenged Cody to a match.Cody agreed to it as long as it was a non-title match. Cody and Gabriel would exchange strikes and wrestling holds. Cody would hit a throat trust to gain control. Hornswaggle would watch as his "Angel Gabriel" (See what I did there, High-lerious) would be dominated with numerous light holds. Gabriel would counter a highjack hold and attempt a 450 splash. Cody would escape, Gabriel tried numerous pin manouveres, and high flying moves but only scored 2 counts, after a hot shot, Cody would land the Cross Rhodes on Gabriel for the win.

This was a good promotion match for Cody although I expected Gabriel to win, I look forward to Cody being in the Rumble, Now I do hope he wins, he would make an epic Heel Champion

PeR would face The Usos in a tornado match. For those who don't understand wrestling lingo, Tornado tag team means no tags are required. The Usos would take control of PeR, with multiple tag moves. After Primo would eliminate Jay Uso, by tossing him outside. Primo and Epico would team up on Jimmy. Jimmy would counter, and Jay would hoip back in, this gave the Usos the advantage. The Usos would both hit a running hip attack on PeR, Rosa would distract Jay Uso, while Jimmy Uso hit a high cross body. The pin would be interupted and Primo would land a back stabber on Jimmy for the win.

I am so glad, it does appear that WWE are following my advice, keep it up, restore the tag team division to it's rightful place. The match was amazing, I am glad they brought a tornado tag match back, it's been so long, so long. If you read my review of NXT, I suggested the Usos should become major competitors for the tag team titles, however Air Boom were champions at the time, I again said a heel tag team would need to take the titles, and they have. WWE you are right to read these blogs, as I will provide you with hints and such.

WWE would show a from the vault, of CM Punk vs R-Truth. This I believe is to promote CM Punk in the WWE championship match, and also to promote R-Truth in the Royal Rumble match. If you never saw the match, CM Punk was heel at the time and would be distracted by the referee's slow count and lose to a schoolboy pin.

Backstage the flirting continued between Aksana and T-Lo. Sheamus would interrupt ot find out his match. This would be a tables match against Wade Barrett.

Wade and Sheamus would exchange powerful strikes as the bell rang. The in ring didn't last long as the brawl lead outside. Barrett would set up a table, but this allowed Sheamus to gain control of the match, after bouncing Barretts head of the announce table, he set up a table, and tried to put Barrett through it, but was reversed and Barrett took control.Barrett, had Sheamus on the apron, he hit a running big boot, but Sheamus did not fall into the table, Barrett attempted to hit a suplex, but would be countered into the Irish Hand Grenades followed by a running Forearm, however this sent Barrett over the table. Barrett kicked a table into Sheamus's face, as he attempted to bring it into the ring, this gave Barrett control. Barrett set up the table in the ring, attempted a spinebuster, but Sheamus countered and built up momentum. Sheamus placed Barrett on the table, and went up top. Barrett rolled off and attempted to hit a superplex, after a counter, Sheamus would have to jump over Barrett and the table, but he quickly gained control with the Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus was looking to win, however a distraction from Jinder Mahal, cost Sheamus the match.

Post match Jinder would attempt to put Sheamus through another table, but Sheamus would counter and hit the Brogue kick, this qould be followed by a good ol' ECW sheamus running spinebuster into a table.

This was by far the best match of the night, Wade and Sheamus are my picks going into the Rumble, but who will return for this years?

Ted Dibiase would compete in a flag match against Hunico. Hunico would nail Ted with numerous strikes, but would be countered with a facebuster, DiBiase would attempt to get the flag but prevented by Hunico, likewise Hunico was prevented by Tef DiBiase. After tossing DiBiase, Hunico was inches away from claiming the flag, DiBiase would push Hunico into Camacho. DiBiase would crawl to his flag. Hunico would attempt to prevent DiBiase, But DiBiase would hit a full nelson drop and claim the American Flag for the win.

I wasn't surprised by this match, but was amazing nonetheless. DiBiase and Hunico have great in ring ability like Eddie Guerrero, they also have a nice little rivalry. The only thing is those stupid bikes they cycle to the ring, can't they drive?

WWE would have a dance off between the funkasaurus Brodus Clay and Vickie Guerrero.
This would be won by Brodus, who obviously was better, Vickie would show her moves again, William Regal would come down, asking people not to laugh at Vickie, William would attempt to leave with with Vickie, but was issued a challenge by Brodus. As William was getting down, Brodus would hit his renamed finisher, Aww Funky.

Funkasaurus, Brodus has a great gimmick going on, at least this made a change to a jobber match,

Drew McIntyre would be fired by Teddy Long, however his assistant, Santino challenged him to a match, Teddy stated this was his last chance. The match would be a blind fold match. Both competitors would be blindfolded, including Santino's cobra, They both staggled around attempting to hit each other.  Drew would spear Santino outside, and would hit the ring post thinking it was Santino. Drew would glance a peak at but would miss. Santino would then hit his cobra, as he used the cheering of the crowd to locate Drew.

All I can say about this is. LOL

Overall Smackdown has earned 10/10 WOW! Smackdown actually did it their first 10 out of 10 rating. Can they keep it up?

Big Show vs Brian round 2 (Smackdown Ep 659 reviewed)

Smackdown began with the entrance of D-Bry, who wanted to set the record straight. He would insult Big Show again about his 45 second reign, but said that he was a decent champion and would give him a rematch. He would say that Haymanrules512 comments on message boards were a load of dung. D-Bry would then state that the problems came from Mark Henry, Henry should be suspended. Henry then would come down to the ring, Henry would then intimidate D-Bry, and said that he met with the GM, Teddy Long, and was banned from ring side, but by not interfering, Henry would get a title rematch against whoever wins next week. D-Bry would accept the match. Backstage AJ would tell D-Bry that she loved him.Later Big Show would be talking with a referee, AJ would interrupt them and said that she didn't want Daniel, Big Show would try to explain, D-Bry accused Big Show of stealing his girl, Big Show said that the title had changed him, but would take the title from him.

D-Bry vs Big Show would be no DQ and no Count outs, AJ would come down to support D-Bry. Big Show would dominate Bryan with fryingpan chops, headbutts and body slams. Big Show would counter D-Bry's attempted diving move with a massive spear. Big Show would continue his offense outside, until D-Bry would grab a chait and pummel Show, Show would punch the chair from D-Bry and grab it himself, D-Bry ran into the ring, as Big Show got up on the appron, D-Bry knocked him off with a dropkick and gained control. D-Bry would hit a DDT on the steel chair but only received a 2 count, Big Show took control again after numerous moves, he would attempt a chokeslam, but D-Bry would escape, however Big Show would still dominate, Show would clear the announcement table for a chokeslam, but a low blow would give D-Bry an escape but not for long, D-Bry would run from Show, AJ would be knocked over by Big Show, This would end the match as medical personnel came down and stretchered AJ out D-Bry went with her

The first match would be between former Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, due to the attack last week by Gabriel on Slater, after Slater lost to Hornswaggle last week, as Slater would attack Hornswaggle after the match. Gabriel would dominate the match until Slater delivered a right hand and took control. Gabriel would try to build up some momentum with a head scissors and hip toss, but Slater took contol again with an atomic drop. Slater would dominate the match and and prevent Gabriel from gaining any mimentum. Slater would argue with the ref, before going up top. Hornswaggle's music would play and distract Slater so that Gabriel could take advantage setting Slater up for a 450 splash for the win.

Cody Rhodes would come down to the ring, Insulting the crowd about being Spanish and claiming some were illegal immagrants. This was to brag about being the longest reigning Champion in WWE at this present time. He said that in 2012 he would pull an ultimate warrior- being a  Intercontinental champion and the world heavyweight champion by winning the rumble. His opponent Big Zeke, Ezikiel Jackson came down after the promo to begin the match. Zeke would demonstrate his power, but Cody would quickly gain control of Big Zeke, Zeke would break a front face lock and hit some powerful moves. Cody would counter a torture rack attempt and after a first missed attempt at his springboard kick, he would hit his second attempt and finish Zeke with the Cross Rhodes.

Smackdown would also have a segment showing the inductees of The Hall of Fame class 2012, this would be the Rated R superstarm Edge and The 4 Horseman.

Backstage Santino was running match ideas past Teddy Long, 1st being a small cage that is within a medium cage that is within a giant cage and that the referee would be the cage smith. 2nd would be reallowing reptiles to the ring. David Otunga would interrupt with a request from Lauranaitis to have a list of Smackdown stars which would be in the rumble. Santino would challenge Otunga to a match and Teddy made it happen. Drew would come in to talk to Teddy Long, but Teddy wouldn't listen, instead Teddy instructed Drew to win his match

Drew would compete against Ted DiBiase. Hunico and Camacho would come down to the ring before the match would begin on their bycicle. Drew attempted a quick pin, but resulted in a two count. DiBiase would send Drew outside, and hit an outside dive, but Drew gained control after hitting two spinebusters outside. Ted would reverse a running clothesling and pick up some momentum. Drew would counter a diving axehandle and regain control. Drew would go up top, with DiBiase, in an attempt to hit a super back suplex. However Drew would fall onto the ropes which would allow Dibiase to win.

Sheamus would take on Jinder Mahal after Mahal would hit Sheamus with the camal clutch last week. Jinder came down stating that he was not expected to win, and said he was most dangerous when unexpected. Sheamus would pound Mahal at the start off the match. Mahal would finally counter the Irish hand grenades and build up some offense. Sheamus would counter and land the Irish hand grenades and finished with a Brogue Kick.

Otunga vs Santino would start up with Otunga beating down on Santino, Santino would counter with a roll up but Otunga would kick out and take control. Santino would build up some momentum and attempt to hit the cobra, but Otunga would counter ( with what would appear to be a Celtic Cross used by Finlay rather than his one handed spinebuster) to win.

Brodus Clay would compete against Tyson Kidd. (Kidd obviously being a jobber) Brodus would win within a minute with a running cross body. He would then dance in the ring.

Tamina and Natalya would have a rematch from last week. Natalya would hit a big suplex but Tamina would return with a samoan drop followed by Superfly to win the match.

Wade Barrett would have a promo about him winning the Royal Rumble, and stating that Sheamus was not impressive, Wade Barrett would then challenge Sheamus to a match in Las Vegas next week on Smackdown.

WWE would put on a from the vault, with Cena, Taker, HBK and HHH vs Legacy and CM Punk from 2009. This would end as it did with Taker planting then Heel Orton with Tombstone Piledriver.

Overview:
The Title match was the best overall, however why have previous Divas been injured during these matches, and the match was never stopped. Why has this been the only one? I felt that something would happen when she came down, but that was a bit stupid.

The Royal Rumble promotion matches were very good matches, apart from Slater vs Gabriel as it had a dumb ending.

The Otunga vs Santino shocked me, but I was annoyed that Otunga decided to use a new finisher (Finlay's Celtic Cross)

Brodus had a Jobber match, yawn.

I will be looking forward to Barrett vs Sheamus next week as I believe Barrett will win the Rumble but with two heels competing next week, Sheamus may win, to respark the rivalry between him and Henry or to create a new one with Bryan.

Overall I would rate this 4/10
1 (Title match)
2 ( Henry gets a rematch)
3 ( Great match between Jinder and Sheamus)
4 ( Bug Build up for the Rumble)

Smackdown's first episode of 2012 (Ep 658)

In the first Smackdown of the new year, Like WWE RAW, we had to events to look forward to. However they added at the beginning of show that we would get an update on Randy Orton's injury. For those who don't know Wade Barrett and Randy Orton had a falls count anywhere match, in which Wade threw Randy down a flight of stairs injuring him, however as it was backstage, no one saw how Randy Orton landed, so his injury could be storylined. Smackdown began with quick highlights of the match, with come close up shots of Randy Orton laid out on the floor. That is what annoys me, cameramen never seem to help people, they just keep on filming, ooh a man is hanging from a cliff by his bow tie, where's my camera. They never seem interested in helping.

The first match would be the decider between Cody Rhodes and Booker T, each had a victory over one another, and tonights match would be for not only bragging rights nut for the Intercontinental championship. As Cody was entering the ring, they showed footage of his brother, Goldust, dressed in his civilian gear. Cody delivered his signature springboard kick to the face. The bell rang and the match began, Booker and Rhodes locked up, but the veteran Booker showed his experience, knocking Cody Rhodes down, they locked up again, and Booker pushed Rhodes towards the corner delivering a knee to his abdominal. Booker then sent cody into the ropes and hit him with a back elbow on the rebound, this only got him a 2 count. After picking Cody, Booker was pushed to the ropes, where Cody took control of the match focusing on the left arm booker with various holds, Booker broke the hold and both men exchanged knife edge chops, Booker gained the advantage until Cody was against the ropes whipped him and hit a big back body drop, he picked him up and delivered an arm whip kick to the head. Booker was in complete control. Booker whiped Cody out of the ring, which Cody pulled himself back in. Booker then hit a clothesline on Cody sending him out the ring. Cody took advantage of the time Booker took to get out of the ring, and delivered a gut kick followed by a guillotine drop on the barrier, Cole announced that they would be going to a commercial, Cody then hit a running knee attack while Booker was laying against the barrier. When the match returned Booker had regained the advantage hitting a big kick to the jaw of Cody. After dragging cody to the ropes, Booker hit another knife edge chop followed by a punch, before whipping Cody to the oposite corner. Cody hit a back elbow counter, climbed to the top rope and hit an attempt at a moonsault on Booker. This was a 2 count. Cody clenched his knee signifying he may have damaged his knee or was it an act. He bounced of the ropes and delivered a boot to the face of Booker. He then unloaded stomps on Booker before applying an inverse full nelson. Booker channeled the crowd and hit a few clotheslines which ended in a 2 count, Booker followed up with a spinebuster. Cody kicked out. Bookerr was planning to end it with a scissors kick, Rhodes dodged this, Booker attempted the Book end, but was blocked again, Rhodes tried to land his springboard kick but this was avoided, Booker delivered a gut kick and kit a scissors kick. This ended in a 2 count. Cody went into the corner, Booker seemed to be all over Cody reversing him, landing a gut kick and went for a third scissor kick, but this missed. Booker attempted to hit a lariat after whiping Cody into the ropes, Cody avoided this, and delivered his springboard kick, earning the win over Booker and retaining his title.

After the match, Booker seemed upset at the result. Come on Book, cheer up, having a heel champion makes more money. My opinion of the match, was split. The start of the match was very good after commercials, the matched didn't seem to lose pace. However after Booker hit his second scissors kick, he seemed extremely tired. The end was what I expected, Don't get me wrong, but what good would Booker T be as Champion? Also there are no heel champions. D-Bry, CM Punk, Air Boom and Ryder are all face, they need to keep at least one heel. Booker T competed very well there seemed to be no slip ups.

The following match would be a from the vault if you watched it on TV. Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio from 2009. I don't feel I will be going over this. This was placed so that WWE can promote Chris Jericho, however I was startled why they chose a period from when Jericho was a heel. and they chose Match Footage from when Jericho lost. Do you know why? (Post a comment)

Cody then was walking after his match around the backstage, until Dustin (Goldust) in his civilain attire, no paint. He confronted Cody, He congratulated him on his match. Cody appeared to not accept, and stated that he had nothing of use to say to Cody last week, and has nothing of use to say to Cody now. Cody also stated that it was no secret that Cody was better than his brother, and that he might be more of a success than his father, Dusty Rhodes. He then asked his brother if he considered putting on the ridiculous gold paint and having one more run, He told his brother to remember that he was a joke, but he wasn't a laughingstock, but that can change real quick, just ask Booker T. Cody the smirked and walked away. Cody is probably the best heel on Smackdown at this present time, excluding Mark Henry.

Another backstage skit was Theodore Long was talking to Zack Rider about last weeks RAW involving him and Kane and then to Zack moving on from being Teddy's assistant, Zack said he had a replacement. Drew McIntyre then entered,  Teddy asked Zack if he was serious, Zack then said that Santino was his replacement. Santino then made a remark about Drew losing the previous week, and was eligable to being fired. A match was made between them, if Santino won, he would become Teddy's assistant, and if Drew won, Teddy would consider not firing Drew this week then Aksana came in and basically flirted with Teddy.

Another backstage skit followed this involving AJ and Alicia Fox, talkiing about D-Bry and his match with Big Show and D-Bry's ego.Alicia wished him luck, and left D-Bry said that after he won, He and AJ would go out to celebrate.

The next match was an over the top rope battle royal, to promote the Royal Rumble but nonetheless. Hornswaggle entered first, this provided  a highlight of a confrontation between Heath Slater and Hornswaggle, Sheamus stuck up for the little guy, saying that Slater was more like a R kelly kinda of guy, I believe I can fly, and threw him over the top rope and to the floor. Hornswaggle's opponent was Heath Slater. Hornswaggle began stomping on Slater's foot, then proceeded to pull Slater's tughts down. Slater threw Hornswaggle to the floor, and squasged his head against the bottom turnbuckle. Slater then lifted Hornswaggle to the top rope and attempted to push him out. Hornswaggle batted him away and attempted a crossbody. Slater caught Hornswaggle and attmpted to eliminate him. Hornswaggle stood on the apron and pulled on Slaters hair until he came over the top rope and losed. Slater celebration was cut short with a kick to the gut, Justin Gabriel rushed to the ring, hitting Slater with a big shoulder followed by and STO and finishing him with a 450 splash, he then reassured Hornswaggle and raised his hand in victory.

In my opinion, Hornswaggle, as funny as he may be, beating a superstar who could easily win shows me that they aren't even bothering covering up the scripted fights anymore.

TeDibiase was sent to take on Hunico, who entered with Kamacho on a custom made bike. Eddie Guerrero entered withh lowriders, that was cool, a bike, two grown men, on a bike, nothing wrong about that is there, in fact it is common for to grown men to ride a bicycle together (!). They locked up, and displayed some good old fashioned cruiser-weight division wrestling throuoght the match, until Dibiase countered a head scissors into a flap jack. This advantage was short lived when Hunico ramp Dibiase's left arm into the middle turnbuckle. Hunico then procedded to hit numerous grabbles on the arm, until Dibiase powered out of a hold, followed up with a dropkick which lead into a atomic dorp, this was followed up by a dropkick and a powerful clothesline, turning Hunico inside out. Dibiase went for his finisher dream street, which was countered with an arm breaker across the shoulder. Hunico threw Dibiase into the corner, while holding his left arm, Dibiase hit his head, Hunico then pulled Dibiase to the floor, put his right leg across Dibiase's back, to which Dibiase bent his arms over, in some sort of handcuffed style Hunico the stepped over Dibiase, which turned Dibiase over onto his back with his shoulders to the mat, Hunico grabbed the legs of Dibiase elevating him into a unique pinning perdicament, that I thought would fail, and guess what it didn't DiBiase lost.Hunico then rode the bike out .
I thought this was a brilliant match, with a great ending, however I was looking forward to the World heavyweight Championship Match. This match brought back the old days of the cruiser-weights, and because of this I have some new found respect for Hunico.

Wade Barrett came to the ring after a backstage skit of him talking to two security personnel, I assume about his actions last week. He said he was going to give a medical update himself. He then showed the same footage of the falls count anywhere. He announced that Randy had a hermiated disk in his lower back, I can tell you from experience in no way shape or form will Randy Orton be back anytime soon if the injury is real, as I have a famiily member who has suffered this, and they have never recovered from it. Wade Barrett said that Orton is finished career wise. He said that he may try come back, but he won't be the same, The Viper is extinct. He then said that that Randy and his fans won't be watching the hometown hero eliminate 29 other superstars, but he and they will have to watch him win the Rumble. Sheamus interupted him and got a huge reaction. Sheamus began talking about his uncle talking about fantasies and how Wade will have problems in the Rumble, and Sheamus would be the biggest one. Sheamus then said that his uncle was kicked in the head by a mule at age 8, this was the reason for his fantasy stories,he asked what was Wade's excuse for acting like a horses arse. They sized each other up. Jinder mahal then came down to the ring, while Wade exited the ring. Mahal then slapped Sheamus, which he paid for when Sheamus pounded on him, Wade came in and dragged Wade to a corner, which Sheamus fought out of, he hit a clothesline on Jinder and set up Wade for the Celtic Cross, Jinder saved Wade, but met another clothesline, Wade then hit the Winds of change on Sheamus. He exited the ring, while Jinder Mahal came back in to apply the camels clutch on Sheamus.

My opinion on this First if Randy has suffered this injury, and it isn't storylined, he will not be in action for a while, a good 3-5 years. But When Wade said that the Royal Rumble would be held in Randy Orton's hometown, that got me suspicious, numerous superstars return at the rimble at number 30 and win the rumble, two examples Edge and John Cena. Second I believe that Wade is going to win, as it is going to be a Smackdown superstar to win, as RAW have Rock vs Cena for the WWE championship at Wrestlemania, and tonight we have two face superstars competing for the title. Thirdly if you read my RAW review, you will get this, Sheamus why oh why didn't you use the water bottle. R-Truth has knocked Miz dizzy with it twice, you saw his jaw with an ice pack on WWE.com.

Next they showed footage of TLC, Big Show beating Mark Henry to win the title, then Mark Henry assualted and knocked out the Big Show, D-Bry then cashed his money in the bank breifcase to win the title.

Next up was the wager match made earlier that night Santino Marella vs Drew McIntyre. Before the match I expected Drew would lose. McIntyre tried to land a few clotheslines all which missed, Santino hit a puch combination before being whipped into the corner, Santino jumped up, to jump over Drew who was running towards him, Drew landed a dropkick to the abdominal. Drew then took advantage, by chocking Santino against the second rope, Drew set up Santino for the future shock, whoch was reversed into a roll up by Santino but was only a 2 count, McIntyre delivered a big clothesline to Santino for that reversal. Drew lifted Santino onto the top turnbuckle and climbed to the second rope, Santino caused Santino caused Drew to slip and hit his head against the top turnbuckle. Santino did his Cobra taunt and got the three count. Santino celebrated while Drew pleaded with the referee to reverse the decision.

I knew I was right, that is all.

Backstage Drew was approached by Teddy Long, He said that cannot count, Santino must have greased the rope, I would never mess up like that, I wouldn't lose to Santino. Teddy said that all he saw was another lose, and that was strike two, next week if there was a strike three, Drew maybe out, i.e fired. Santino then came still celebrating his victory, saying that he amd Teddy were going to make sweet music.

I actually don't see where this will go, as this is making Drew popular, like MVP was on an incredibly losiing streak, this made him popular.

In the ring, what I call the mexican MnM or PeR (Primo, Epico, Rosa) They cut to an interview which Rosa stated in Spanish: It;s obvious that Primo and Epico are very talented, and with me, I garantee that everything will come up the colour Rosa (meaning her name rather than the colour Pink) for them, My boys will capture Airboom (meaning Primo and Epico will soon win the tag team titles from Air Boom). Air Boom came down to the ring, finally syncing up their timing for the jumping fireworks. The bell rang and again I saw some amazing cruiser-weight action from Epico and Evan Bourne, Evan began to gain the upperhand, and tagged to his partner Kofi, Kofi hit a bog dropkick but only got a two count, he then got hung up after a drop toe hold by Epico, Primo then delivered a boot while Epico had the referee's back turned. PeR tagged in primo and then tagged back to Epico.after each delivered a few stomps to the chest of Kofi. Epico grounded Kofi with a headlock, but Kofi pumped out and hit a springboard dross body afer being whipped into the corner, and countered with a back elbow. Both competitors made a tag, Primo rushed in and Bourne hit a ring in dropkick, followed by a high kick which was proceeded by a hurracarana and followed by another kick, Bourne then delivered a jump elbow to Epico, who was on the apron, he then hit the floor,Bourne hot a jumping knee, after picking Primo up, Primo countered into a back suplex, which Bourne rolled out of, and hit a jumping back spin kick  followed by a clothesline in the corner, he climbed to the top rope and hit a double knee drop, which was a 2 count, as Epico broke this up, Kofi then hit a running forearm sending Epico out but onto his feet, this is usually followed by an outside dive, however Rosa stood infront of Epico shouting no. Kofi said to her to move, she refused, he turned to the ref, Epico pulled him down and through the rope to the floor, Evan was distracted by this but turned around to deliver a knee to the skull of Primo, he then ascended the top rop and hit the airbourne, However Epico moved Primo out of the way, Bourne missed Airbourne, Primo covered for the 3 count. Rosa then raised Primo and Epico's arm in victory and danced.

Well Airboom have got their opponents, but there aren't enough tag teams iin WWE, this needs to be improved, other wise just abandon the titles. I can't remember seeing Air Boom for ages, only saw them at TLC. Anyone know (Post a comment) At least the heel team have a great win, Rosa dancing, thats an incentive.

Matt striker then was backstage interviewing his guest the Big Show. Matt asked the Big Show what his confidence was like going into this title match. Big Show replied that he never underestimates his opponents, but his confidence level is bery high, D-Bry won his championship with me unconcious, I've regained my concious tonight I am looking forward to regaining the title. D-Bry is a good wrestler. At this point Danuel Bryan interupted him saying that he as a good wrestler and one day he will be a great wrestler. You (saying this to Big Show) came out the womb as the worlds as the worlds largest athelete, if I had your size with my ability it wouldn't have been 9 years between championships, and I certainly wouldn't have the worlds shortest title reign. Big show the put his hand on D-Bry's shoulder. Show said, Daniel don't make me hurt you out there tonight, D-Bry then said Get your damn hand of my shoulder. Big Show left it there, asking him, so now your a tough guy? Daniel replied Off!, Big Show removed his hand, saying ok and walked away.

It looks like D-Bry will becoming heel, which is usually what happens with two faces competing for a title.

A match had been made fr nect week, Sheamus vs Jinder Mahal Who will win? (Post  A Comment) This was followed by a diva match between Natalya (With a highlight of her farther Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Her opponent was Tamina, daughter of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, during her entrance, a promo of Jimmy played. Natalya took the lead by just pounding on Tamina, Natalya went to using the sharpshooter, which Tamina pushed off. Tamina then ducked a clothesline, and hit a big cross body, which left bith divas down for 4-7 seconds, Tamina then hit a samoan drop on Natalya followed up by a tribute to her father she hit the Superfly.

I do enjoy a good diva wrestling match and that's what this was, fantastic, for about 2 minutes, that's how long it lasted, boring,

Finally the match I had been waiting for,The World Heavyweight Championship Match between D-Bry and Big Show, however Mark Henry came down, to the ring to join on commentary, this gave me the inclination that Mark would sabotage Big Show's chance, which would allow D-Bry to brag about how he beat the Big Show. Mark Henry was in a foul mood and mouthed off to Michael cole, simply hilarious. D-Bry ran away from the Big Show, until Show cornered Bryan in the corner and delivered repeated Frying pan chop followed by Big Show picking D-Bry us headbutt him twice and throw him out of the ring, D-Bry got in the ring delivered kicks but was pushed back out . Henry shouted at D-Bry, Daniel get back in the ring!, and Daniel did, as Big Show was getting out, he then ran bounced of the ropes and hit a running drop kick through the ropes, knocking Big Show towards the announcetable, Mark Henry turned to Josh and Cole and shout "What ya'll jumping for" Bryan then jumped over and was caught by Show, Bryan got free and Show collided against ring post, Bryan then delivered a knee knocking show on the floor. Big Show got in at the count of 7, D-Bry then unloaded kick after kick while Henry said to cole, I swear you don't shut up. I will slap the taste right out of your mouth, to which Cole responded Yes Sir. Bryan covered Show for a count of 1, he was then pushed in the corner , hit show with a big dropkick but only git a two count, and was powered out of the ring by Show. Mark then yelled at Daniel " get back in that ring, what you taking a rest for?" Big show grabbed Bryan and "lifted" (aka Bryan jumped up) Bryan onto the apron, however Big Show was countered by a few rights from Bryan, followed by a hot shot. D-Bry then climbed the top rope and attempted a dropkick but met a med-air frying pan chop, followed up by 2 clotheslines.and a spear from Big Show to Bryan, Bryan kicked out at 2. Mark was impressed by Bryan kicking out of that. Big Shiw removed his straps for a chockslam, However Bryan reversed it into a guillatine, Big Show dropped to a knee, Big Show powered out of it, but Bryan countered into the lebell lock, Big Show endured this and seemed he was going to tap, but powered out, he then clenched his fist and went for the WMD, however D-Bry got out of the ring, Mark again telling D-Bry to get back into the ring. Bryan got in Mark's face, Mark pushed him on his back saying "get out my damn face, I'll beat your bigs young Boy" Daniel Bryan won via DQ. However Daniel was met with boos.

Well I was almost right, Mark got involved, check, D-Bry beat Big Show, check, turned heel, check, by count out, hmm 3/4. But I loved Mark Henry on commentary. So funny, Comment if you thought he was funny on commentary.

Overall I will give Smackdown a 9/10
1 (Divas match)
2 (World Heavyweight Title Match defended on Smackdown)
3 (Intercontinetal championship defended on Smackdown)
4-8 (Mark Henry on Commentary)
9 (Hell of a match between Big Show and D-Bry)
